The NIBE Soft-starter 2-Piece Set with Fitting Kit (Part No. 718423) is an OEM replacement kit containing two soft starter control circuit boards, along with the full mounting hardware and wiring setup required for commercial-scale ground-source heat pumps.

Compatibility

This soft-starter kit is designed specifically for dual-compressor high-capacity heat pumps:

• NIBE Fighter 1320 (20kW, 25kW, 30kW, 40kW)

• NIBE Fighter 1330 (22kW, 30KW, 40kW)

Purpose & Function

• Inrush Current Limitation: Controls and limits the peak electrical current (inrush current) drawn when the large heat pump compressors boot up. This prevents electrical breaker trips and reduces mechanical stress on the compressor motors.

• Dual-Board Design: Because the Fighter 1320 and 1330 models utilize dual compressors, the kit includes two identical soft start PCB modules (PCBA Soft start ICL) to control each compressor stage independently.
